You know that phrase, "The three most beautiful words in the English language are 'I love you'"? Well, I think it's a load of crap. Yes, they are nice words, especially when the speaker truly means them. But I think there are several more three-word phrases that are just as beautiful.
Here are some examples:
You are/were right. (A personal favorite.)
Here's your money.
Dinner's on me.
Let's have sex. (This one is, of course, contingent upon the fact that you actually want to have sex with the person saying this, but for the sake of argument, let's say that you do.)
Whatever you want.
Pitchers and catchers. (Exclusive to baseball fans.)
It's my treat. (Yes, this is merely a variation on #3, but still a viable contender.)
The beer's free. (You can substitute any other item for the word "beer" and it's still a damn beautiful three-worder.)
I'm not pregnant. (Again, this is contingent upon you not wanting to be pregnant, or not wanting your partner to be pregnant.)
You are hired!
What are some other three-word sentences or phrases you think are beautiful? Comments are open!
