It took forever but we are finally at the last day of January. I do not want to hear any February slander because that is my birth month. Let’s circle up!

Bitch: The PUR water dispenser I’ve used for many years had a clogged filter and magically wishing for it to allow more water to pass through the top chamber, into the filter, and out the bottom didn’t work, dammit…

Brag: …but following the instructions on unclogging the filter did work. Funny how that happens.

Bitch: My liquid soap is getting all watered down and I can’t figure out why. Is the soap poor quality? Is the pump mechanism all wonky?

Brag: I have had some success with layering balms and creams on my hands at night to deal with winter dryness. Using a little dab of a L’Occitane face cream sample on top of a layer of Magic 8 Balm has worked the best so far.

Bitch: There are two doors to the teachers’ lounge at Wagstaff. Somehow the lock on the main door broke, so we spent the last half of the week with an unlocked lounge and pretending to use our keys so students wouldn’t decide to sneak in there.

Brag: Many eighth graders created powerful, informative displays for National History Day. I wasn’t a judge but I looked at many of the entries and I’m impressed with their work, and I’ll be curious to see who gets special recognition.
