Welcome to February, my birthday month! Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early spring, and I’m all for that. Let’s gather ‘round, kids!
Bitch: I hate taking a shower when the Waterpik Shower Massage handheld piece keeps rotating toward the shower wall. This tends to happen when I take the piece down for cleaning, whether it’s the hard water deposits & gunk off the shower head or washing down the shower itself. I thought I had figured out a few tricks to get the shower head to rotate downward, but today those tricks failed me.
Brag: The Advanced Calling In four-week course ended on Thursday night. It was an incredible experience to learn from Loretta Ross and her team once again on how to be part of the human rights movement and work with people to better understand what white supremacy is and how this ideology affects us all. I highly recommend joining Professor Ross’s email list to get notified about the next course.

Bitch: Yesterday I woke up at 5:30 am to Ippie puking on the bed—and of course she couldn’t puke on the blanket. No, she puked on the duvet, which meant I had to wash the duvet cover AND duvet. This is the second time one of the cats has puked on this lovely grey-lavender duvet cover, and I am starting to think they hate it.
Brag: I mailed out a package of 250 kid-style valentines to a couple of nursing homes in response to a Facebook group request. ‘Tis the season for me to hand out valentines and I look forward to it every year—you can read the history about this by clicking the link below.

Bitch: The Baltimore Ravens AND the Detroit Lions lost last weekend, and while I’m not much of a football fan, these are two cities I love and I’m of the belief that when a sports team has a good season, it elevates the mood of those who live in the team’s home city.
