Bitch: On Saturday evening, USPS claimed that they left a package by the front door, but they didn’t, and I had a feeling it would show up on Monday, once the regular carrier was back…
Brag: …and sure enough, the package was in the mailbox on Monday afternoon. I had just finished a conversation with the carrier about the package, then I checked the box and there it was! I’ve had this situation happen several times and every time it pisses me off, especially when the package is small enough to fit in the mailbox (and this one was).

Bitch: Two days this week I came home from school exhausted to the point that I put on my pajamas right away. I am getting too old for this shit.
Brag: I had a fun pre-birthday outing in Baltimore today (school closed for students, as the F/T teachers & staff had a professional development day), including coffee with my good friend Johnny and a fabulous haircut from Erin at Fringe. Johnny gave me a gorgeous handmade notebook for my birthday, and I did a little local shopping: a can of Farm Fizz sparkling white wine from Remington Bottle, and a couple bars of soap from Mt. Royal Soap Co. Later on in the day I found a split of my favorite prosecco, so I got that, too.

Bitch: On Monday morning, soon after waking up, I had a terrible coughing fit that had me cursing, it was so bad. I took a cough suppressant pill before heading to school for the day as I didn’t want to freak anyone out, nor did I want to wee a little in my pants in the middle of class as a result of a big cough. (You women of a certain age know what I am talking about.)
Brag: Apparently that major coughing fit was the death knell for the sinus infection/cough I’d been dealing with for a few weeks, as I am feeling much better now.
