Let’s circle up, kids!
Bitch: Emily* went home to the EU on Wednesday and I miss her something fierce. We haven’t spent that much time together since we were classmates, and that was a very long time ago. We connected so deeply and I have been feeling out of sorts ever since she left.
Brag: I am obsessed with “Daisy Jones and the Six” on Prime Video. I read the Taylor Jenkins Reid book a few years ago & loved it, and this series is an excellent adaptation. The music perfectly captures the ‘70s rock era and I’ve had the album on constant rotation on Spotify. If you’re a fan of music documentaries & movies, I highly recommend this show. Official trailer is here.
Bitch: Yesterday I found out about the death of someone else I knew. Donny* was quite a character. We met through a mutual friend, Wyatt*, and together we planned a surprise birthday party for him. Donny had a big heart and a big mouth, and wasn’t afraid to use either of them to express himself. May he rest in peace.
Brag: I’m loving all the spring flowers that have sprung around my neighborhood. It’s helping me feel a bit more positive about, well, everything.
Bitch: March has proven to be so much more exhausting than I anticipated. Plans got changed, then changed again at least twice over. I have spent the last few days doing as little as possible because every part of my being is worn out, and yet I feel guilty for resting so much.
Brag: Emily’s father gave me a piece of art that his mother created many years ago and it’s a lovely addition to my collection of photos and artwork. It’s a watercolor landscape of New Zealand, which I plan on visiting as soon as I have the means to do so.
