This month is gonna be a doozy: Mercury retrograde started on Monday and ends April 25, solar eclipse on the 8th, taxes, total chaos. Circle up!
Bitch: Pops and I both use a liquid glucosamine supplement to help with joint issues, and the Nature’s Way brand he typically gets for us has a printed daily tracker printed on the bottle label. You’re supposed to line up the little arrow on the top of the label with the imprinted dosage cap so you know if you missed a dose. When the company redesigned the plastic label overlay, they forgot to add the daily tracker arrow & blurb along the top edge. Guess I better grab a Sharpie and make my own!
Brag: I’m going to be a poll worker for the primary election in Maryland! A neighbor suggested I look into working the election(s) as a way to earn some money, and I thought, why not? I filled out the forms for my county and at the beginning of the week I got my assignment. I have to spend time over the next week reading the polling judges manual online, and take follow-up quizzes and tests, so there’s a good deal of prep work involved. I’m excited to take on this new challenge.
Bonus Item: Ippie and Rooney are enjoying the sunny mornings by the sliding glass door once again. I love to see it.
Bitch: Why do all these sites change up their systems or password/login requirements when Mercury goes retrograde? Are they intentionally messing with us? I have spent way too much time this week setting & resetting passcodes, logins, PINs, yada yada yada. OVER IT.
Brag: On Monday I went to check out a new TJ Maxx near me & found a big bag of Seapoint Farms dry roasted edamame at a crazy good price. Love these crunchy protein-rich “nuts” for a snack.

Bitch: Just when I think I’m not going to hear anything from a narcissistic gaslighting ex of mine, he pops back up, finding yet another online profile of mine he can follow. This time it’s one where I cannot easily remove or block him, despite all my research and attempts to make him disappear. He’s likely reading this, and thinking he’s trying to be supportive of my work, but nope, you’re once again being an arrogant jackass with zero respect for my boundaries.
Brag: Dealing with Mr. Narcissist has been an annoying reminder of my need to set, maintain, and honor my boundaries in my relationships with other people. I also need to be mindful of the boundaries others set with me. This is an area of my life in which being self-taught can be exceptionally challenging, full of backslides and excuses, having to repeat lessons way more than I would like. But I’m getting too old for this loosey-goosey crap and I need to stand firm. Wish me luck.
This week on The Corinne Channel: that one new album, a late 80s film, and more!
