It’s been a weird week, my friends. Let’s circle up!
Bitch: What doesn’t hurt right now? I had pain in my right shoulder for several days, no thanks to intensive shoulder exercises with Fitness with PJ (this morning it seems to have gone, thankfully). My right heel hurts, no thanks to old sneakers providing zero support. My tailbone hurts, no thanks to all the sitting I do.
Brag: I got in some great walks this past week, thanks to warmer temps and rain-free days. Saw a few neighbors and met a 13 year-old Havanese dog named Marley that barked at me because I dared to walk by her house, but she calmed down after her owner came out to chat.
Bonus Item: I’m loving all the tulips in the neighborhood. Daffodils and tulips are guaranteed to make me smile.
Bitch: I had to deal with a few issues with tax prep, related to my bank making account changes in the middle of last year and subsequently losing some transactions in QuickBooks (which I was able to replicate, thanks to old school analog income & expenses tracking), and a couple other issues that cropped up, but despite these setbacks…
Brag: …I filed my taxes five days ahead of the deadline, which hasn’t happened in several years.

Bitch: The damn ants are back and they brought the crickets with them. I put out a Terro trap for the ants, but for some reason they aren’t attracted to it. Argh!
Brag: I got a sweet deal to try out Scentbird, one of those fragrance subscription services. On Saturday I received my first scent to try out, Dominican Republic by Nateeva. It’s a little sweet, a little sultry, thanks to citrus, rose, sandalwood and cedar. I wouldn’t buy a whole bottle of it, but I do love trying out new scents. I cancelled the subscription this morning and may try it again at a later date, when I have more disposable income for beauty products.
