Exclusive for paid subscribers: the Corinne Channel is a roundup of what I’ve been reading, watching, and listening to over the past week. This list will be included at the end of each Friday Bitch and Brag.

Is it just me, or does it feel like May was interminable until it wasn’t? Yeah. Gather ‘round, folks!
Bitch: Google’s AI Overview tool is now at the top of any search results, which was irritating and distracting. (And it’s providing inaccurate information, too.)
Brag: Thanks to the good folks over at and Discord, Flyover Politics, I found https://tenbluelinks.org/ with instructions on how to avoid that damn AI results crap in Chrome browser.
Bonus Item: This photo of Pops speaks for itself.
Bitch: After Momcat died nearly 15 years ago, I took a beautiful parquetry wooden jewelry box she owned and used it for many years, but between moves it got pretty banged up on the corners. She’d kept the card with the name of the Montana woodworker who crafted the box, so I reached out to him about possibly getting it repaired…
Brag: …and he did an incredible job fixing the damage, for an extremely reasonable price. I am so pleased and impressed by Mark Bakula’s craftmanship and customer service. Be sure to check out Wooden Images website & Etsy shop to see all of their amazing offerings, from hair clips to knife racks and some beautiful phone/tablet stands, too.

Bitch: There are so many different online services & apps used by my county’s teachers & school administrators that it is mind boggling. I spent three days reviewing materials, filling out forms, and watching mandatory training videos on everything from safety to recognizing abuse or bullying to bloodborne pathogens. We really do not pay teachers enough.
Brag: On Thursday I picked up my photo ID from the board of education office, and I’ve accepted two assignments: one for middle school English language arts and one for high school social studies. This means I’ll get to achieve my goal of trying out both options before the end of the school year on June 14. Stay tuned to see what happens!
This week on The Corinne Channel: new album from a smokin’ hot singer, witchy fun, and more!
