Exclusive for paid subscribers: the Corinne Channel is a roundup of what I’ve been reading, watching, and listening to over the past week. This list will be included at the end of each Friday Bitch and Brag.
In case you missed an older Friday Bitch & Brag, you can check out the index here.
Let’s circle up, folks!
Bitch: After reading that Twitter (or X, if you want to call it the stupid name that fartface calls it) is allowing AI to use tweets, I decided to stop tweeting. I downloaded archives of my old tweets and then searched for a bulk delete tool…but couldn’t find a good one that was free. Once payday hits, I’ll use TweetDelete to clean up my accounts.
Brag: THE ORIOLES WON AL EAST!!! If you are mad that I used all caps, you’re gonna have to get over it because this is a HUGE DEAL. The O’s haven’t won their division since 2014 and it’s been even longer since they got the AL pennant.
Bitch: This morning I found out that Kaiser Permanente’s health care workers may strike next week if their unions don’t make an agreement with the company. A strike will impact 13 million folks who use Kaiser for health care services, including me. After the clusterfuck that was the pandammit, all health care workers deserve higher pay and sweet benefits.
Brag: I did some yoga and meditation this morning and was reminded, yet again, that I feel so much better in mind, body, and spirit when I do both. If you’re looking for some free yoga classes online, I really like Vytas on FitOn (he does free meditation sessions on there, too) and in the past I’ve done 30 Days of Yoga through DoYouYoga.
Bonus Item: Once it’s fall, I start inking up a few fountain pens with more seasonal inks, like oranges, dark reds, and forest green shades. It’s a little thing but makes me oh so happy when journaling, writing letters, or making a list.

Bitch: It took me six calls over a two-day period to finally reach someone at the IRS who could help me deal with my back taxes payment concerns, and they still have the same annoying hold music they’ve had for at least a decade. I’m waiting for this cool remix to drop.
Brag: Deena’s birthday was on Wednesday and we had a 2 hour phone call in the late morning where we talked about a variety of topics, from big issues to fun random stories. She’s one of the few people I know who is willing to talk on the phone for long stretches and I need that type of interaction way, way more than I think I do.
And now for this week’s media wrap-up on The Corinne Channel: historical fiction with great plot twists, earworms from one of the best bands of all time, culty madness, and be-boppin’ chickens!
