On time and learning new things

Last year, I started Tuesday Scribblings, a post with thoughts & commentary on the personal, regional, and global events and stories that are rattling around in my brain. With the rebranding of my Substack, these posts are now for paid subscribers only.

I am an old dog and that means I have no patience for new tricks. Maybe that's because for as long as I can remember, I was able to pick up new ideas, systems, and concepts very easily. Someone could show me how to use a word processing program and I would continue using it and picking up skills and shortcuts on my own. I prided myself on being such a quick study.
