I have been so busy reveling in the start of spring break (and by reveling I mean sleeping, reading, and watching random shows) that I saved this week’s B&B for Sunday. Let’s circle up!
Bitch: The last day of school before spring break was extra wonky, as the eighth graders went on a field trip and those who stayed behind were supposed to report to a specific classroom. Did I get the memo about which classroom to go to? Nope. I went to the room where I thought I was supposed to be, only to find the door locked.
Brag: In last week’s B&B, I bitched about not being able to wear my favorite silver hoop earrings in my left ear piercing. Soon after writing that, I tried again and the hoop slid right through without a problem!

Bitch: Mari has had a few incidents when Max has scratched or bit her during playtime, and I got him a kitty teaser wand toy so she could play with him without risking injury. That spoiled brat isn’t interested in the toy much at all. Probably because he is used to hunting the real thing.
Brag: On Friday at school, I tested my US geography skills by labeling all 50 states on a blank map from one of the social studies teachers. I did pretty well: 46 out of 50. My apologies to Nebraska for forgetting about them, and for mislabeling (and second-guessing) the locations of Arkansas, Iowa, and Missouri. I hope this egregious error doesn’t get me kicked out of the Flyover Politics Discord that
and co-host. Next up is labeling all the state capitals, though I don’t know that I could pinpoint their exact locations.

Bitch: For the last couple weeks there’s been equipment piled up around the neighborhood, as it looks like underground cables are being replaced. Guess which part of the neighborhood will be worked on this week? Yeah. So much for a quiet spring break at home.
Brag: On Thursday I got $40 in a Facebook user privacy settlement. Did I spend it all in one place? No. I spent it all in three places. Don’t judge me.
